What breed of chickens have you? Very exciting indeed :) I kept chickens for a while when I still lived in CT--I love them! I had Silver Seabright bantams (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gairid/2765172951/) (2 hens and a rooster) and three Star hens (a red a black and a white). The red hen was a very loving creature; if you sat down she would hop onto your lap and settle down making those contented hen sounds when you stroked her head and back. Chickens are wonderful creatures! Congratulations!
